Prison Wizards-The People of Bike Week

Just as expected 2012 bike week was bitchin! I love making new friends and getting to see all those friends that live all over the world. I definitely didn't get as many photos as I wanted cause I was to busy having fun. I did get a bunch of pictures of motorcycles so check back tomorrow for part 2.

Bike Week, Night 1.

First Saturday of bike week has been rainy and windy which sucks but by Monday the weather is gonna be fantastic. We put our tent up and our disco floor down, ran for cover and Bloody Marys at Martinis outside pavilion. Pretty relaxing listening to it rain. My usual crew of guys: Mike, Chris, Justin, and Scott met up with Bobby Bordeaux and Midnight Mike. This was my first time meeting Midnight and he was super nice and we exchanged stickers but all I got from Bobby was a couple punches in the arm.
Slightly drunk and disorderly we took Ocean Buffet by storm and they hid us in the back room with the other dirty bikers. I never thought a buffet would be so pretentious. Chris made Justin  eat some octopus but he failed and his new nickname is octopussy wussy! Currently it's 11:20 and we are back at the garage putting Chomp's motorcycle together. So sleepy and no rest in sight........

Get Well Soon Joey T

I always get super bummed when I hear about a motorcycle crash and it really hits home when it's someone I know and like. Joey got was hit by a car running a red light while out on his chopper in Daytona a few days ago. His leg got busted up pretty good and he spent hours in surgery and from all accounts he is doing ok :) but unfortunately his bike is fucked :(

Bike week is right around the corner and I just want to remind everyone to be careful on your motorcycles. Slow down when going through intersections, don't assume that the car next to, in front or behind you can see you, make sure your bike is safe to ride, and of course don't get drunk and pretend you are superman on a chopper.  If you don't ride a motorcycle and prefer 4 wheels then CHECK TWICE FOR MOTORCYCLES before changing lanes and give them plenty of space on the road! There are so many accidents due to drivers simply not paying attention, texting, talking on the cell phone, ect.......So be careful out there!!!
