A Week of Mechanical Mishaps

So, unfortunately, stuff breaks from time to time and this week it came double :( The panhead lost it's belt drive on Tuesday, I rescued the man from the side of the interstate shortly after he left work. Taffy Puller broke a piston, bent a push rod left a huge gash on the inside of the motor that is going to have to be machined before being put back together (way to go Chris, just cause it can go 120 mph doesn't mean it should!) At the very least no one was injured and everything can be fixed.

Ok, Mike has been using S&S carbs for longer than he can remember but lately the super "E" on the pan has been giving him some lip running rough and using a bit more fuel than it should as well as having a problematic float which likes to stick open every once in a while. So He's had am S.U. sitting on the shelf for a while and decided to give it a whirl. First impression is dang! That thing pulls like a train and responds quicker than shit through a goose! Updates later as to long term and gas mileage

Boston Mike's Bike Bash @ ShovelHead Lounge

Tonight is the night for a hell of a good time. The past two times have been so much fun and I'm sure this one won't disappoint either. Wet t-shirt contest tonight to get the crowd going and I'm in the process of making a cool trophy for an awesome motorcycle to win. So get off your ass and ride down (or up) to Shovelhead Lounge in Longwood and drink some beer with Mike and myself. Hope to see ya there!!
