Had an awesome weekend riding Around Florida with a bunch of my favorite people. If you haven't experienced the tar ball run I would seriously suggest you to make plans to do it next year. October 6th we are throwing a party at Little Fish Huge Pond in Downtown Sanford. There will be a bike show with handmade trophies and cash prizes, $10 to register. Live music by the New Bruce Coale Band. Food cooked up by Vic’s Smokin BBQ. Good beer and wine specials at Little Fish with your favorite bartender, Awesome Autumn. Hope you haven't waited to long to see our Chop Off bike. Ladies like it long so of course we wouldn't want to disappoint. A lot of parts are hand made including gas tank, oil tank, taillight, handle bars, sissy bar, stretched frame. We ran duel carbs with two front heads which left a lot of people scratching their head. Yes it does run and it sounds like a bad motherfucker. We didn't win the competition but it's all good because Black Sunshine did an amazing job on their bike. We are still just really stoked that we got to be apart of the Pro Chop Off!
We lost a great friend during the smokeout and there will never be another dude like him. He was a serious smart ass who didn't hesitate to tell you if you were being a pussy! In the wake of his loss we were scrambling to provide his dad with the resources to help memorialize his son. I didn't think it would be possible to put together a bike run for him in under a week but boy was I surprised. Not only did it get organized but there were t shirts printed, patches made and we received over $1000 in donations. So I wanted to give a shout out to all the companies/people who were so generous:

Check out the April 2012 issue of BSH for a great feature on Maquina Verde. Rachel rides the wheels of this café inspired street bike. Mike built this bike years ago for her and since the photo shoot it has under gone some remodeling but still very worthy of a feature!
